This is Slavik - Co-Founder and CEO of Descope. We’re very excited to share our drag-and-drop authentication and user management platform with you!
My founding team and I have built multiple enterprise security startups over the past two decades (Sentrigo for database security and Demisto for security automation). While scaling these companies, we experienced first-hand what a big engineering lift building authentication in-house can be. What started out as a sprint line item quickly ballooned into a multi-year investment as we faced questions like:

I had a branded POC for OTP done to demo in under one day. Their support is excellent, and they love clear and direct feedback. The developer docs are tidy. For any small start-up building a product and being careful about its technology foundation and resourcing, DeScope is a clear winner.
For any larger company looking to maintain a sane Identity management footprint for B2B or B2C with the needed security standards but does not want to own that function, DeScope shows all the signs of being a modern, affordable, and lower OpEx choice than their competition.
Congrats on the launch! I'm curious on how you compare what you've built to others in the space like https://rownd.io/ - it seems theres an alignment that passwordless is the future! But based on what Im seeing in the docs https://docs.descope.com/customi... perhaps a disagreement where Descope has decided to allow passwords, at least for now, for those that insist?
