Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We built a self-hosted deploy platform where you never have to open a terminal.
We developed it because every self-hosted alternative we tried seemed to assume you enjoy debugging a compose file at midnight. A no-no. So we created the solution we wish we could use ourselves.
Two things pushed us into it. The first is the bill. Not the price, the surprise. The second is that every self-hosted alternative we tried assumes you enjoy debugging a compose file at midnight. We don't. So we built the one we wanted to use.
Talking more precisely, Deplo is an open source platform you install on your own server. Connect a repo, pick a server, and it builds it, runs it, puts it behind a domain, gets the certificate and keeps it alive. The rule we set ourselves is that you never need Docker knowledge, SSH or hand-edited YAML to get full value out of it. The shell is there as an escape hatch if you want it, never as a requirement.
What's included today: - Deployment without Docker, SSH, or YAML: connect a repository, choose a server, and you're online - Server sharing across teams, with granular control over who can deploy where - Automatic preview environments for every pull request - Custom roles (RBAC) out of the box: define roles and control access to the entire infrastructure - One-click rollback to any previous deployment, without having to rebuild the application - AI-ready with MCP: enable AI agents to deploy, analyze logs, and manage infrastructure with limited access - Backups encrypted with a recovery key owned by you
This is really cool! I'm gonna have to try it I do self hosting but the server debugging can be a real pain, had it not been for a friend that had already seen most of the issues I ran into I would've been lost!
Cool idea - and they are really responsive on their discord channel! Good luck on your launch.
Congrats on the launch! How does Deplo compare to Coolify? Also, is a full automated migration possible?

Who hunted Deplo?
Deplo was hunted by Kevin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
