I kept needing to show people how a product worked without making them sign up or watching a video. Loom felt too passive, and every "interactive demo" tool I found wanted $30-99/month and had me upload screenshots to their servers.
So I built DemoKit: upload screenshots, draw clickable hotspots, export one HTML file. That's it. Nothing leaves your browser until you hit export. Host the file anywhere, embed it in an iframe, or just email it.
