DemoForge
Product demo videos that re-record when your UI changes
Demo videos go stale every time your UI changes. DemoForge makes a demo a file: a short flow.json of Playwright steps, each with one line of narration. One command records your app with auto-zoom on every click, a smooth cursor and a voiceover that sets the pace. Fine-tune zooms, cuts and captions in a browser editor, then export an MP4. UI changed? Run it again. Claude Code can write and record the flow for you. Open source (MIT), runs locally, free voice included.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Dixit, a web developer from India.
At work we keep demo videos for our admin panel. Every UI change meant someone re-recording them, zooming in by hand and redoing the voiceover. Our Playwright tests already clicked through the whole app, so I asked: what if the test was the demo?
That's DemoForge. The zooms come from the logged click positions (no video analysis), the cursor is drawn afterwards, and each step waits until its narration line is spoken.
Try it in a few minutes: the repo records Playwright's public TodoMVC demo, no API key needed.
Still rough: tested mostly on Linux, and the editor runs on a dev server.
If you keep demo or onboarding videos, what would make you switch?
