I'm Mohammed. I built Deio from Baghdad.
Most AI app builders are made in San Francisco for San Francisco
founders. I wanted to build one for everyone else — the designer in
Cairo, the student in Lagos, the freelancer in Karachi. People who
have ideas worth shipping but don't write React.
Deio is what I wish existed when I started. You type an idea in plain
English (or Arabic). The AI writes the code in real time. A live
preview runs in your browser. One click ships it to your own
subdomain. No deployment, no DevOps, no "now figure out hosting."
A few choices I'm genuinely proud of:
→ Real previews, not toys. Your app runs in a Docker container with
Vite — same as your laptop. Hot reload, real npm deps, no
in-browser compromises.
→ Honest pricing in IQD. Per-turn billing. Cost shown after every
prompt. A typical app costs under $1 to ship. 5,000 IQD free
credit on signup so you can try before you commit.
→ Plan vs Build modes. Plan is read-only — discuss ideas, sketch
architecture, ask questions without burning credits. Switch to
Build when you're ready. About 10× cheaper for the back-and-forth.
→ Multi-model routing. Opus 4.7 for first impressions and creative
redesigns, Sonnet 4.6 for daily work, Haiku 4.5 for mechanical
edits. You pay for the brain you actually need.
→ Arabic-first. Real RTL layouts. Bilingual UI. Built knowing
English isn't everyone's first language.
The whole thing runs on a single DigitalOcean droplet, Cloudflare R2
for storage, and Anthropic for the agent. Solo build, launching from
a country where most people pay in dinars and most software pretends
they don't exist.
