We built DDP around a simple problem: two people may already agree to meet, but plans can still fall through.
DDP is not a dating, matchmaking, or social networking service. It’s designed for people who already know each other and have decided to meet.
Before the meetup, both participants place a small refundable deposit. If they attend as agreed, the deposit is refunded. If someone no-shows, the forfeited deposit is donated to UNICEF.
The idea is simple: add a little accountability to plans people have already made.
We’d especially love feedback on whether this kind of commitment mechanism would make plans feel more reliable.
