DayTrim
See all your photos from today — across every year
What were you doing on this exact day last year? Three years ago? Five? DayTrim answers that question instantly. Open the app, and you'll see every photo you've taken on today's date — from every year in your photo library. No search. No scroll. Just your memories, right there. Why I built it: I kept forgetting to look at Apple's "Memories" feature, and when I did, it felt too automated. I wanted something dead simple: open app → see today's photos from the past → feel something. That's DayTrim.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Greetings from Germany.
I'm Robert, the solo developer behind DayTrim.
The idea came from a simple frustration: I knew I had photos from "today" scattered across years of memories, but finding them in Apple Photos felt like a chore. So I built DayTrim. Open it, and it just shows you every photo from today's date across your entire library. No setup, no AI, no cloud. Just your photos.
I built this entirely solo over the past few months, and shipped v1.0 on May 14th. Since then I've already pushed three updates based on early feedback — including multi-select sharing and native video support.
A few things I'd love your feedback on:
What features would make you open this app every single day?
Is the Subscription or "Any Date" unlock (browse any day, not just today) something you'd pay for?
Any iOS 26 bugs you hit? I want to squash them fast.
The core app is completely free — no paywalled core features. Just download, open, and scroll back in time. ✨
Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
