Day Zero
Fund and validate SaaS ideas. Back & trade lifetime deals.
Most crowdfunding platforms aren't built for software, and standard launch platforms make it too easy to just "like" a startup. Day Zero bridges this gap by letting founders get their first 100 customers before they even have a product. You can pre-sell licenses to fund and validate your MVP from day zero, while giving backers a completely new asset class: tradable lifetime deals.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Beri, My co-founder Kfir and I (both 18 and fresh out of high school) are the makers behind Day Zero.
The inspiration for this came directly from my own pain points as a builder. I am constantly spinning up new projects and MVPs. But i realized the hardest part of launching isn't writing the code, it's validating the idea and getting those crucial first 100 customers before you spend months building in the dark.
We looked at the existing options and hit a wall. Traditional crowdfunding platforms just don't make sense for SaaS, and standard launch platforms (like the one you are reading this on) make it too easy to just "like" a startup. We wanted a place where users actually put their money behind their words and give founders real validation. There was simply no way to fund and validate a software idea from literally day zero.
So, We built it. Day Zero lets founders pre-sell licenses to fund their MVP. But to make it a no-brainer for early adopters, We introduced a completely new asset class: tradable lifetime deals. If a backer takes a risk on an early idea and the product grows, they aren't locked in. They can sell that active license on our secondary market for a profit.
We want to help makers get non-dilutive capital instantly, while rewarding early adopters for spotting great software.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! What idea would you launch on Day Zero?
Hello PH! 👋 I'm the Co-Founder, let us know what you think! We would love to get some feedback and opinions!
