I’m a student developer and I’m excited to share my first-ever app: Day Dots.
I built this out of a simple frustration. I loved the "life progress" wallpaper trend, but I found that most apps in the space were charging $12/year or high monthly fees for a very simple function. I didn't want to pay a subscription just to see my year progress on my screen—so I decided to build my own version from scratch.
What makes it different?
100% Free Forever: No paywalls, no "Pro" versions, and no ads.
Battery Efficient: It uses a lightweight engine to update once a day at midnight.
Hyper-Customizable: You can tweak everything from the dot shapes and accent colors to the exact vertical positioning so it doesn't overlap your icons or widgets.
