Top comment

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jan, the maker of DateSweep. This one came from my own workflow. I build a lot of WordPress sites from templates and older copies — and they always launch with every post dated 2019. Fixing dates by hand across hundreds of posts is miserable, and bulk-setting them all to "today" looks obviously fake. So I built DateSweep. It refreshes published and/or modified dates across posts, pages, custom post types and comments in one pass — spreading them randomly over a range you choose so it looks natural. Every run has a dry-run preview before anything's written, and one-click undo after. It's batched, so it won't time out on big sites. The core is free on WordPress.org; a Pro version adds scheduling, ACF date fields, age targeting and more. It's genuinely new — launched the free plugin a couple of days ago — so I'd love your honest feedback on what to build next. I'll be here all day answering questions 🙌
