Data Tool
Convert & clean CSV, Excel, and JSON files in one command
Bulk CSV/Excel/JSON converter and data cleaner that runs 100% locally — no uploads, no privacy risk. Drop duplicates, trim whitespace, and remove empty rows in one command. CLI mode for power users, interactive mode for beginners. Free version handles 200 rows/file.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built this because I kept manually converting and cleaning spreadsheets for small projects — same repetitive steps every time. This tool handles the conversion (CSV/Excel/JSON) and basic cleaning (duplicates, empty rows, whitespace) in one command, no need to upload your data anywhere.
This free edition handles up to 200 rows per file — great for testing it out. Would love to hear what data-cleaning pain points you run into most!
Finally a data cleaner that doesn't try to ship my CSVs off to some server. Loved the interactive mode; it figured out the duplicates in my messy export way faster than I expected.
