Dainty helps fiction writers fix typos, punctuation slips, broken dialogue, sentence-boundary issues, and clear grammar errors without turning their prose into bland AI-sounding text.

Hey Product Hunt, I built Dainty because most grammar tools are too confident for fiction. They don’t just fix mistakes. They smooth the sentence, polish the rhythm, remove roughness, and sometimes make a character sound like someone else entirely. That is fine for emails and reports. It is dangerous for fiction. Dainty is built for writers who want proofreading, not rewriting. It focuses on: • typos • punctuation slips • broken dialogue punctuation • sentence-boundary problems • clear grammar errors And it tries to leave alone: • voice • rhythm • dialogue texture • deliberate fragments • stylistic roughness The product shows changes in a diff, so writers can review what changed before keeping it. There is no email waitlist. No fake “join the beta” step. The Product Hunt link goes straight to the real product. You can create a free account and proofread a real passage from your own draft. Dainty is not trying to replace editors. It is for that painful stage where your scene is mostly working, but you still need to clean the obvious mistakes without letting a tool rewrite the soul out of it. I would especially love feedback from fiction writers, indie authors, NaNoWriMo writers, and anyone who has had Grammarly or an AI writing tool over-polish their prose. Try it with a messy paragraph of fiction and tell me if it protects the voice enough.
