DahTahDoc is an alpha-stage product exploring how small software teams can keep specs, version diffs, references, and QA test cases connected. It is not a finished commercial release yet. The current preview is meant for feedback on the Spec-to-QA workflow, document traceability, and handoff gaps between PM, SA, engineering, and QA. (Free alpha preview. No paid plan is currently offered.)

Quick note: DahTahDoc is currently in alpha. It is an experimental preview, not a finished commercial release. I am sharing it early to learn whether the Spec-to-QA workflow solves a real handoff problem for small software teams.

Hey Product Hunt!

I built DahTahDoc because small software teams often lose context between specs, implementation, and QA. A requirement changes, but the related test cases, references, and delivery notes are often scattered across docs, chats, and memory.DahTahDoc is my attempt to make software documents traceable by default.

The core flow is simple:

- write and publish a spec

- review version diffs clearly

- connect related references

- create and maintain linked QA test cases through a Spec-to-QA workflow

It is built for PMs, system analysts, engineers, and QA teams who need a calmer way to keep delivery context aligned.

The product is still early, and I would love feedback from teams that still rely on docs, spreadsheets, and manual QA handoff today.
