Cymatic is a sound wellness app that helps you create personalized sessions for focus, sleep, relaxation, and emotional reset. Choose a healing frequency, layer music and natural atmospheres, then watch the sound transform into living visual patterns in real time. Alongside sound sessions, Cymatic includes guided meditations, breathwork practices, daily recommendations, and iOS widgets to make calm easier to return to throughout the day.
I created Cymatic as a personal solution for myself.
I found myself juggling guided meditation apps that all served different purposes, breathwork apps that didn't inspire me, and a clunky frequency emitter that required far too many cords and accessories.
So I decided to solve the problem myself and I created Cymatic, an iOS app that brings sound healing, breathwork, and guided meditations into one place that puts human centered design first.
Cymatic was conceptualized, designed, and built in 6 weeks of day and night work with Lovable. And my biggest takeaway from this experience: the incredible autonomy AI is giving to designers with an itch to build. A few years ago these would have just been designs on my Dribbble, but today I'm actively using an app I built myself to shift my mental state. Pretty dang cool.
