We kept noticing the same broken pattern across B2B SaaS: someone gets genuinely curious about a product, clicks "book a demo," fills out a form... and then waits. Days, sometimes. By the time the call happens, half the original excitement is gone — and the call itself is usually spent on the same handful of basic questions every prospect asks.
That gap between "interested" and "actually seeing it work" was the problem we set out to solve. Abby is an AI-run interactive demo — when someone wants to see your product, they get Abby immediately, walking them through it live, adapting to their questions in real time, no scheduling required.
Our approach shifted a lot along the way. We started thinking of this as "a smarter chatbot," but quickly realized the real unlock wasn't answering questions better — it was actually operating the product interface and adapting the walkthrough itself, the way a good sales rep does instinctively. That's a much harder problem, and it's the one we ended up building around.
