Cursora is hands-on coding education — real sandboxed challenges in 13 languages instead of video lectures, plus Linux, MongoDB, and CSS challenge types most platforms skip. Instructors can publish a course today, no approval queue, with full control over price and content, plus a real assessment tool for grading. Built for people who learn by doing, not by watching.

Top comment

Hey PH! I built Cursora because most coding courses are video-only — ours uses real code sandboxes (13 languages) instead. Today I'm especially looking for instructor feedback: you can publish a course immediately, no approval queue, but we don't have a polished payout system yet — wanted to be upfront about that. Would love your thoughts either way.

Comment highlights

One thing I'd love to see is a peer review or mentorship layer where learners tackling the same sandbox challenge can compare approaches, leave code comments, or pair up. Doing it solo is great, but a small feedback loop from other humans would close the gap between practice and real collaboration.

Jumped into a Python challenge right away and it actually felt like coding, not watching a tutorial. The no-approval setup for instructors is a nice touch too, would make publishing a course way less painful.

The sandboxed challenges feel way more useful than another coding video. Glad to finally see CSS and Linux thrown in alongside the usual languages too.

The sandboxed challenges feel genuinely hands-on, and having MongoDB and Linux included is a nice surprise. Way more useful than sitting through another lecture.
