Hi, I’m Cooper, the maker of Current Card. After ten years in tech, I burned out and left my job. During the time away, I found myself forgetting small things I wanted to do or say. Notification sounds and busy to-do lists felt overwhelming. I made Current Card for those thoughts: a bookshop to visit someday, something to tell a friend, an idea that doesn’t need a deadline. You keep one active card on the Apple surfaces you choose, including your Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy. You get another chance to notice it as you use your devices. When it no longer needs to be there, you “Let go.” There’s no requirement to call it a completed task. It’s available on the App Store. I’d love to hear whether this fits a situation in your life, and what you notice when you try it. Thanks for taking a look.

Who hunted Current Card?

Current Card was hunted by Cooper. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
