Hey Product Hunt, I kept running into the same small annoyance. I would be shopping online, reading a price abroad, or splitting a bill while traveling, and I just wanted to know what that number meant in a currency I actually understood. Fast. Without thinking about it. That felt harder than it should. Apple’s calculator can do conversions, but it takes a few taps to enable, and once it is in conversion mode, it can get in the way when you just want a normal calculator. Most dedicated currency apps bury the simple action behind menus, ads, cluttered layouts, or interfaces that feel like they have not changed in years. So I built CurrencySpot. Open the app, pick your currencies, type a number, and get the answer instantly. You can also view recent rate history, or use the camera to scan a price tag, menu, receipt, or sign and see the converted amount without typing. That’s the whole idea: a simple currency converter that gets out of your way. I’d love to hear what you think, what feels missing, and what you’d want next. Thanks for checking out CurrencySpot.
