Curio
One line of code. A site chatbot that never guesses.
Curio is an AI chatbot you add to any website with a single line of code. It reads your site, then answers visitors' questions grounded only in your actual content -- with citations that deep-link to the exact section. No hallucinations, no leaking secrets, no storing conversations. Two modes built in: topic Q&A and live support with human takeover. Meet Hugo, your site's Hungry Helper.
What inspired me to build Curio
Every AI chatbot I added to a website did one of two things: it either acted like a dumb keyword bot that couldn't actually help anyone, or it confidently made things up. I watched one tell a visitor something that was flatly wrong about my own site — stated with total conviction. That's worse than no chatbot at all.
The bots that were smart came with a second problem: a mountain of setup. API keys, dashboards, config files, a weekend gone.
So I wanted the opposite of both. Something you install in one line, that answers only from your actual content, and that cites where every answer came from — so visitors (and I) can trust it. If it doesn't know, it says so instead of inventing.
That's Curio. And Hugo the hippo makes it a little more fun to talk to.

Who hunted Curio?
Curio was hunted by Richard Whitney. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
