Cullstack is a fast photo and video culler that reads your files where they already live: local drives, NAS, SFTP, Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud, and your phone, with no importing into a catalog. Rate, pick, and reject at full speed, with on-device AI that never uploads. Mac, Windows, and Linux.

I'm Scott, the solo dev behind Cullstack. My photos are always scattered: some on my laptop, some on a NAS, a few still on the card in the reader, a bunch in Dropbox. Every app I tried wanted me to pull all of it into its catalog before I could even start sorting, and I never had the patience for that. So I made something that just opens them wherever they are and lets me pick the keepers quickly. It handles video too, and any AI bits run on my own machine, so nothing gets uploaded. It's still early and it's just me, so I'd honestly love to hear what you think, good or bad. I'll be hanging out in the comments.

Who hunted Cullstack?

Cullstack was hunted by Scott Kitchin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
