Culina Core
Manage readiness, team, supply, and stock in one app
I spent about 10 years managing restaurants. On paper, everything looks structured. In reality, most operations run on memory, group chats, and constant follow-ups. The more locations you add, the more things start slipping through the cracks. At some point, you realize you’re not really running a system. You’re just holding it together.
Culina came from that realization.
The real problem isn’t staffing or tools. It’s the lack of a unified operational system. Tasks get missed. Inventory issues go unnoticed. Orders aren’t tracked properly. And as an operator, you only find out when something breaks. Everything is reactive. I wanted to build something that makes operations visible and structured by default.
Where each part of the business connects instead of living in separate tools.
At first, I thought I was building a set of features.
Scheduling. Checklists. Inventory. Orders.
But that approach felt fragmented. It didn’t solve the core issue.
So I shifted the thinking from “tools” to “system.”
Instead of asking:
“What feature should I build next?”
I started asking:
“What loop in the operation is currently invisible or breaking?”
That’s what shaped Culina into four core areas:
-Staff
-Operations
-Supply
-Stock
Each one closes a specific operational loop.
The goal wasn’t to add more functionality.
It was to remove uncertainty.
