Crowdicate brings the wisdom of the crowd to sports betting allowing anyone to make predictions for different markets. We combine all predictions to develop power aggregate models leveraging the knowledge of each individual predictor.
For anyone who has ever read Superforecasting, that book and the Good Judgement Project are the inspiration for Crowdicate.
We want to empower anyone to make sports predictions and use these predictions to build the best betting models on the market. Our model allows predictors to earn money for their work as the site grows.
We also want to make it easy for anyone to get started and create their own model. If you are someone with experience building any kind of predictive models what are some tools or ideas that you think would be helpful in getting someone started in building their own models?
I stumbled on this app while scrolling through ads, and I'm just not sure it's going to work, too many people making predictions might just create noisy results, plus betting with crowd wisdom seems like a recipe for disaster, anyone else feel the same?
So we're just supposed to trust the crowd with our money now? sounds like another gamble to me, hope it won't end up like all the other "revolutionary" betting apps, pls prove me wrong
Found this new sports betting app through an ad and decided to check it out, can't help but wonder if relying on crowd predictions might actually dilute the insights rather than enhance them, I mean how do we know the crowd is right, would be interesting to see some transparency on how individual predictors' expertise is factored in, otherwise it just feels like gambling on opinions, any thoughts on adding features to validate predictor credibility?
It seems like just another sports betting app to me, sure it uses crowd wisdom but so does Betfair and Smarkets, honestly this just feels like it's jumping on a bandwagon without adding anything new, prediction models are great but let's see some proof that this actually gives better odds, otherwise it's just more noise in a crowded space
