We built CrossCheck because we were tired of being human linters.
Every PR, the same five comments: "add a down migration," "this needs a test," "don't log the token." The rules that actually mattered lived in our heads and got enforced inconsistently. Then AI started writing more of our code, and the volume made keeping up impossible.
We flipped it. With CrossCheck, you write your team's review rules in plain English ("migrations must be reversible," "no secrets in source"), and we run them as pass/fail checks on every PR, with line-numbered evidence. No CI to maintain, no LLM keys to manage.
The bet is simple: AI should write the code and run the boring checks. Humans should set the bar for what merges. Vibe the code, encode the bar.
