A cross stitch pattern is weeks of someone's evenings, so the chart has to be right: eyes that still look like eyes, colors you can actually buy at the shop, and pages that don't lose your place at the join. Most photo-to-pattern tools I tried gave me dozens of muddy colors, no thread numbers and no idea how much floss to buy.
So I built one that works the way a careful pattern designer would:
• Every color is a real DMC floss, listed by number and name, with skein counts
• You see the whole pattern before paying anything, and small patterns (up to 60 × 60) are free
• The converter uses no AI, so it never invents details that weren't in your photo, and your photo never leaves your device
• A stitch editor for fixing eyes, swapping colors and cleaning up stray stitches
• PDFs tested in Pattern Keeper, plus OXS export for other stitching apps
