CritPath AI is my attempt to close that gap: real critical-path analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, critical-chain buffers, and decision gates as first-class schedule objects — with an AI copilot that reasons over your actual dependency graph, not a chatbot bolted on top. At a fraction of a cost compared to those relics of pm software. Schedule aware AI employees within the schedule can replan as needed, and you can hand off your non hardware jobs to them as you see fit. The first ever AI program manager that is trained on real historical project data from 583 different projects.
The process of building this changed me as much as the product. I launched beta-first, and beta users redirected the roadmap almost immediately — a biotech team's ask to "train the AI on our program history" became a whole org-knowledge track I hadn't planned. I build in tight loops with AI pair-development, then harden everything through line-by-line review before it ships. Solo founder, but never really coding alone.
