CrawlForge MCP is an open-source MCP server that gives AI agents 31 web tools: scrape, search, crawl, extract structured data, browse in stealth mode, keep a browser session alive across calls and run multi-source research. Add it to Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor with one npx command and your agent reads the live web as clean markdown or JSON. Pay per use from 1 credit a call, and start with 1,000 free credits, no credit card required.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Simon, the maker of CrawlForge MCP.
I built it because giving an AI agent reliable web access still means stitching together a scraping API, a headless browser, anti-bot handling and content cleaning, then exposing all of it to the model as tools. CrawlForge is that whole stack as one MCP server: 31 tools, from a plain page scrape to stealth browsing, browser sessions that survive between calls, and multi-source research.
A few decisions I'd love your feedback on:
• MCP-native first: the tools map to what an agent actually does, not to REST endpoints.
• LLM extraction runs on a local Ollama model by default, so page content doesn't have to leave your machine.
• Pay per use from 1 credit a call, with 1,000 free credits and no card, so you can test it on your own sites.
Getting started is one line: npx -y crawlforge-mcp-server, plus a free key from crawlforge.dev.
I'm here all day and reading every comment. If something is missing or rough, tell me.
