Crackthejob
The honest AI resume coach that won't just flatter you
Find exactly what's missing between your resume and your dream job in 47 seconds. CrackTheJob identifies every keyword, seniority signal, and missing skill — then coaches you to fix it.
I built CrackTheJob after watching friends (and myself) fire off dozens of applications into a black hole — no replies, no idea why.
Every "fix your resume with AI" tool had the same flaw: it just flatters you. Ask ChatGPT to improve a bullet and it invents numbers you never hit — a landmine the second a recruiter asks. And everything's a "95% match."
So I built the opposite: a tool that tells you the truth. It shows exactly what's missing for a specific job, gives you an honest fit verdict instead of a flattering score, and coaches every bullet — grounded in your real history, never fabricated.
It won't always tell you what you want to hear. That's the point.
Would love your feedback — especially the brutal kind. 🙏
