CoupleBites is a food diary built for two — not a habit tracker with sharing bolted on. Snap a photo and it's auto-sorted as food or drink, cut into a clean sticker, then sent straight to your partner's phone over a direct peer-to-peer connection — no server, no account. A streak with forgiving freezes keeps you both logging, while your whole diary stays local to your device. Built for couples who want to remember what they ate together, without handing that memory to anyone else.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built CoupleBites because my partner and I kept forgetting what we ate together — which place, which dish, which day. Every food-diary app I tried was built for solo calorie tracking, not for two people sharing a meal.
The core idea: no accounts, no server, ever. When you share a meal with your partner, it goes directly from your phone to theirs over a local connection — nothing touches the cloud. That constraint shaped almost every decision, right down to using on-device Vision instead of a cloud AI model just to sort photos as food or drink.
Would love to hear what you think, and happy to answer any questions about how it's built! 🍽️
