Countless lets you log what you ate in plain language, get an honest estimate of calories and macros, and move on. No food-database hunting, no feature overload, no fake precision. Built for people who want to keep tracking — not turn tracking into a hobby.

I built Countless because I kept running into the same problem with calorie trackers: I wanted the tracking, but not all the work around it. Search for the right food. Pick the closest database entry. Work out the portion. Add the ingredients. Correct everything. Repeat three times a day. Newer trackers make some of that faster with AI, photos and scanners. But I kept seeing the same broader pattern: the tracker gradually becomes a bigger product, with more scores, more coaching, more things to monitor, and more reasons to spend time inside it. I wanted to go in the opposite direction. With Countless, you can write something like: “chicken, potatoes, some salad, probably a bit too much olive oil” and get a reasonable estimate of calories and macros. Then move on with your day. Just as importantly, Countless doesn’t pretend every meal can be measured exactly. If you weighed everything, the estimate can be precise. If you had steak and fries at a restaurant, the honest answer is something like ~1,200 kcal, not a magically exact number. The principle behind the product is simple: consistency beats precision. A reasonable estimate you keep logging is more useful than perfect numbers you stop tracking after two weeks. That philosophy also means deliberately doing less. Countless isn’t trying to become your meal planner, workout tracker, water tracker, social network, health score or AI life coach. AI is there to remove work, not to become the product. The goal is not to make calorie tracking more powerful. It’s to make tracking less noticeable. You can try logging a meal on the website without signing up. This is the first version I’m putting properly out into the world, and I’d especially love feedback from people who want to track calories but usually end up quitting tracking apps. https://countless.fit/

Who hunted Countless?

Countless was hunted by Eugene. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
