Hunted byIan XuIan Xu

cosm is a macOS workspace manager. Put everything a task needs — the apps, browser tabs, and files — into one Space. Switch tasks and the whole context comes with you; everything else tucks out of sight. One thing in focus, the rest quiet. Think of it as the sidebar Arc gave your browser, extended to your whole Mac — apps and files included. Built for people who live in their computer and juggle a dozen things at once. Mac, launching mid-July. Follow to get notified on launch day.

Why I'm building cosm: I loved organizing my work into spaces in Arc — until a task needed a file or an app outside the browser. My real work was never inside one window. So cosm puts a Space around the whole task: apps, tabs, files. More soon.

Who hunted Cosm?

Cosm was hunted by Ian Xu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
