I built this after watching my wife go through her PhD manuscript revisions. The hard part was never grammar — it was catching unclear claims, repetition, and weak flow before submission. The AI writing tools we tried either missed that entirely or rewrote whole paragraphs, and then she couldn't say what had changed or why.
CorrectMyPaper works the other way round. It reads your manuscript and returns suggestions pinned to your own sentences — the original text, the proposed change, and the reason it was raised, the way a reviewer's margin notes work. You accept or dismiss each one. Nothing is rewritten in the background, and your work is never used to train models.
That design isn't a feature list, it's the whole point: at the end you can say exactly what you changed and why, which is what journal AI-disclosure policies actually ask for.
There's a complete sample review you can read without signing up or uploading anything — that's the fastest way to judge whether the suggestions are any good. New accounts get 15 review credits; a standard review costs 1.
