I'm Martin, and I built Cooking Snap because I kept running into the same problem: I'd find a great cooking video, then spend the whole time pausing, rewinding, and scrubbing back and forth just to catch the ingredients and steps.
So I made a tool that does it for me. You paste a cooking video, and Cooking Snap turns it into a clean, structured recipe with clickable timestamps that jump straight to the exact step in the video. You can save recipes, organize them into collections, and turn any recipe into a shopping list.
It's free to start, with a Pro plan for unlimited recipes. I'm building it solo and there's a lot more coming (translations, nutrition info, importing from more sources), so I'd genuinely love your feedback on what would make it more useful for how you cook.
Now it works only for YouTube, but as it goes, I will add the other platforms (IG, Tik Tok and so)

Pasted a long YouTube cooking video and it actually pulled out the steps with the right timestamps, which I wasn't expecting. The shopping list feature is a nice touch too.
