I am thrilled to launch my first app, CookingTimer, on Product Hunt. I wanted to build this app because I find it so frustrating to lose track of time when I'm cooking. I've been experimenting with different kitchen timers and have come up with a solution that is both accurate and elegant.
What makes CookingTimer different is that it allows you to set up multiple cooking steps and triggers alarms at specific times. This is especially useful for recipes that require multiple stages, such as boiling dough or roasting a whole chicken. You can also choose between two reference modes: after starting or before finishing, so you can schedule reminders for adding herbs or serving.
