My problem with modern AI is that you're always talking to a fossil. Every frontier model froze its weights months ago. It will never learn from the dumb answer it just gave you. Ever.
Conway Omega is my answer to that. It's a 500M parameter model, which sounds tiny because it is, and that's the point:
It's still in school. It retrains on real conversations, nightly. Catch it being dumb today and congrats, you just wrote part of tomorrow's lesson plan.
It's not a wrapper. No borrowed weights, no rebadged API. I built the tokenizer, the data pipeline and the model from scratch.
It's green by arithmetic, not offsets. A tiny model on one iMac burns basically nothing per answer. That's my entire environmental claim.
Honest disclaimer: GPT will destroy it at trivia. Frontier models are cathedrals, magnificent and finished. This is a workshop, and it's open every day.
