Hi Product Hunt! 👋 Consultants are increasingly working with AI every day — using it to brainstorm, research, analyze, and draft deliverables. I don’t think this means AI will simply replace consultants. I think it changes what matters. As AI produces more of the first draft, the consultant’s job increasingly becomes: Can you tell whether the output is actually right? Can you challenge it, structure the problem better, and make the right judgment? That makes the fundamentals of consulting even more important, not less. And I think this is especially important for junior consultants. Experienced consultants have years of repetition and feedback to help them recognize when something feels wrong. Juniors are still building that judgment, which makes it easier to accept a confident AI answer without challenging it enough. That’s why I built ConsultGym. The goal is to help aspiring and junior consultants build the fundamentals they need to work effectively with AI: structuring, hypothesis-driven thinking, logical reasoning, problem solving, and communication. ConsultGym gives you practical consulting cases, asks you to think through the problem yourself, then provides AI scoring, feedback, a model answer, and progress tracking across five core thinking skills. You can practice one case every day for free. I believe AI won’t make consulting fundamentals less important. It will make them more important.
