ConsentKit uses edge geolocation to show the right consent or opt-out experience for 20 US state privacy laws, GPC, and GDPR traffic. Install one lightweight script, connect Google Consent Mode v2, and track consent analytics. Free up to 10K pageviews/month.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Patrick, founder of StudioDDx and maker of ConsentKit.
Working across websites, analytics, advertising, and marketing technology, I kept encountering the same mismatch: most consent management platforms were designed around GDPR and later adapted for the United States.
That can result in heavy cookie banners, complicated configuration, enterprise pricing, and unnecessary friction for American visitors who may only need a state-specific notice or opt-out mechanism.
So I built ConsentKit: an America-first consent management platform that detects each visitor’s location at the edge and serves the appropriate privacy experience through one lightweight script.
What’s available today:
• Support for 20 US state privacy laws, with GDPR handling for international traffic
• Automatic Global Privacy Control detection and opt-out handling
• Google Consent Mode v2, Google Tag Manager, and GA4 integration
• An asynchronous, approximately 11KB widget designed to minimize page-speed impact
• Analytics for consent, opt-outs, GPC signals, and visitor jurisdictions
• Custom styling, multi-site management, and agency plans
• Installation with a single script tag
ConsentKit is free for one website and up to 10,000 monthly pageviews. No credit card is required.
It is built for founders, marketers, developers, agencies, and privacy professionals who want a practical way to address US privacy requirements without forcing a European-style consent modal on every visitor.
I would especially appreciate feedback on three things:
1. Is the value proposition immediately clear?
2. Which CMS or integration should we prioritize next?
3. What would you need to see before trusting ConsentKit on a production website?
I’ll be here throughout the day answering questions and sharing more about our geolocation system, GPC handling, integrations, and product roadmap.
Thanks for taking a look at ConsentKit.

Who hunted ConsentKit?
ConsentKit was hunted by Patrick DeLuca. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
