What I Learned Building This as a Solo Dev
1. GDPR is about documentation, not perfection
You don’t need to be a lawyer to be compliant. You need to be able to prove that you’ve made a good-faith effort to inform users and get their permission. A clean audit log is your best defense.
2. Most startups are flying blind
