Hey PH, I'm so excited about this launch! Having mostly worked on mobile-first products in the past, I relate so hard to the hurdles of getting eng teams to build "just one more pop-up" that eventually ends up getting dismissed by most users because it's intrusive, annoying, and untimely. The goal with CommandBar for mobile is to give product teams (although I do think marketing teams would love this too) the tools to build and ship these experiences themselves, whether it's an onboarding tour, a reviews campaign, prompting confused users to access Copilot (our AI assistant), or simply communicate product changes WHEN it's the right moment. Would love to hear if any of you have any WTF moments you've experienced with mobile UX in the past!

Hi PH! Since we started 3 years ago, CommandBar has made thousands of web & desktop apps simpler and easier to use through “personalized user assistance” — in-product experiences (e.g. embedded Copilot trained on your product, cmd+k search, nudges, etc) that help users instead of annoying them with pop-ups. Hopefully, you’ve experienced us in a product by now (maybe you did without realizing it 🦸). So far, we resisted the urge to launch a mobile product because (1) we wanted to stay laser-focused and (2) we felt like the “make all web and desktop apps easier to use” mission was a big challenge already. In hindsight, I actually regret not launching a mobile product sooner. When we dug into it with our customers who have mobile apps, it became clear the problems we solve on desktop are even more acute on mobile: - Limited screen space - Users are in a hurry with a specific job in mind - The status quo for mobile user assistance is bad — in-app browser horror, big interrupting pop-ups, incessant “rate me” asks So, introducing - CommandBar for mobile: mobile-native versions of our most popular in-product experiences: - Copilot: an AI-powered assistant for users, just a tap away. Works with voice too so your users can look like they’re speaking to a futuristic Siri / Google Assistant 😎 - HelpHub: make it easy for users to find training content, tutorials, etc. No in-app browser to be found - Nudges: announce stuff to users in non-annoying ways, using advanced targeting. Available today for React Native, iOS, and Android.

I really, really dig the CommandBar products, and we're looking to thoroughly integrate it into our product, but the pricing of $249/mo is a bit too steep, especially when we're bootstrapped and have no real revenue yet.

Congratulations on the launch, Commandbar crew! Can't wait to see what you all deliver next!

Congratulations on the launch of CommandBar, it's a great solution! We look forward to seeing how this improves the user experience!

Hey @cristinaibunea, congratulations on the launch! 🎉 I completely agree with the hurdles of intrusive pop-ups. CommandBar seems like a welcomed change! As a marketer who often collaborates with the product team, the ability to swiftly communicate product changes is super valuable. Have you considered any features to analyze the performance or user interaction with these guided experiences? Would love to see that in the future!

Congratulation on the launch of CommandBar on Product Hunt! I can't wait to try and provide you my feedback!

I love it! It's incredible all of this is available on my iPhone. Wow. Just... WOW.

Congrats on the launch, Commandbar team! We're huge fans (and very happy customers) here at Basedash. Mobile is a game-changer. Excited to see what y'all ship next!

This is AWESOME! I spent 9 years working with mobile apps, and I can say this is desparately needed for end users. So excited to see the power of CommandBar being brought to mobile  Stellar job, CB team!

CommandBar for Mobile looks like a fantastic product! Is there a way to try it out before buying a plan? What kind of metrics can I expect to track with the AI copilot? I'm interested to hear more about the product.
