I'm Anshul, the maker of ColorFit.
The idea started from a frustration I kept running into while shopping online. I'd see a shirt or top that looked amazing on the model, order it, and then realize the color just didn't work on me. The product wasn't bad. The color simply wasn't right for my skin tone.
When I started digging deeper, I learned that the same color can look completely different depending on a person's undertone and depth. Yet online shopping gives everyone the exact same experience.
My first instinct was to build a simple "color matching" tool. But after talking to users and testing early versions, I realized people don't actually care about color theory. They care about one thing: "Will this look good on me?"
That changed the direction of the product.
Today, ColorFit analyzes your coloring from a single selfie and works directly on Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, and Ajio to highlight clothes that are more likely to suit you while you're already shopping.
