This idea came from my personal experience of the admissions process for universities, realizing how expensive and unfair university admissions really are. There is a lot of people who are just guessing what they need to do to achieve what they want academically with no one to guide them due to either financial or geographical constraints.
At the start when I started brainstorming what we could actually do, the idea was quite simple. Gather a database of past profiles of applicants and generate a type of algorithm that can determine a person's chances to get into a university. But as we worked on it more with the team, we realized that it's not about where you are at in the moment but where you could be when the right time comes, so we had to find a way of giving people direction. Private counselors are too expensive and biased towards universities. On the other hand, if your school is able to provide a counselor, they sometimes have to assess up to 600 students.
After such a long time of effort being put into realizing this idea, our team, which is made from 3 university students in top universities like Harvard, is glad to say that we can finally bring this product out for the public.
