Hi Product Hunt! I built CodexSkin because Codex Desktop users spend a lot of time inside the same workspace, but trying a new look should not mean editing app binaries or accepting an irreversible install. CodexSkin makes the process visual and inspectable: preview a complete theme in the browser, tune wallpaper and colors, export the configuration, then use reversible scripts for macOS or Windows. Wallpaper images stay in the browser, and the source is public so the workflow can be reviewed. I would love feedback on the presets, contrast controls, and anything that would make theme creation safer or easier. CodexSkin is an independent project and is not affiliated with OpenAI.
