hey everyone, i am manikanta, solo founder building codeverdict
the idea came from a simple frustration, hiring teams spend 3 to 4 hours manually reviewing every candidate take home submission, no structure, no consistency, and zero way to know if the candidate actually wrote the code or just used chatgpt.
so i built codeverdict, you drop a github repo, zip, invite, and it gives you a full verdict in less than 60s.
what it does
scores the submission against your actual requirements
detects ai generated code algorithmically not just a guess
flags plagiarism across submissions
runs the code in a sandbox so you see if it actually works
lets you chat with the codebase and ask questions directly
still early and shipping fast, would genuinely love feedback from this community, brutal honesty welcome
if you have ever been on either side of a take home assignment, the candidate side or the hiring side, i would love to hear what you think
try it at codeverdict.io and drop your thoughts here

Who hunted CodeVerdict?
CodeVerdict was hunted by Manikanta Thummuri. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
