Why I built this: I kept opening "admin dashboard templates" that looked great in a screenshot and fell apart the moment you tried to build on them - hardcoded colors instead of a real theme system, five pages instead of a real app, components that didn't survive contact with real data. I wanted templates that look as good in production as they do in the preview.
The problem: Every developer starting a new SaaS, CRM, or admin panel faces the same fork - burn a week building a dashboard layout from scratch, or grab a template and spend just as long ripping out what doesn't fit. Neither's a good use of time.
How it evolved: It started as one dashboard template. Once that shipped, I realized the hard part isn't dashboard design in the abstract - it's dashboard design for a specific domain. A property manager's dashboard has different priorities than a garage's work-order queue or an HR payroll view. So the project became a system for shipping domain-specific admin templates fast: shared components, a consistent theme layer, and enough per-template personality that they don't all blur together.
One thing I'd love is a Figma file included with the React templates, so I can tweak the layout in Figma before touching code. Would make handoff with our design team way smoother.
Honestly impressed by how clean the layouts look right out of the box, especially the SaaS and CRM templates. The Vite + Tailwind setup made tweaking the sidebar feel pretty effortless.
