Most people just put raw codebases into AI whenever they want it to edit code. Codeslimmer optimizes the codebase so that you can achieve up to 30% more efficiency when AI edits your code. Codeslimmer converts your codebase into a clean XML format, adds a file directory tree, and optimizes it for token efficiency. One of the best tools for AI coders.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt 👋! I made Codeslimmer because whenever I upload codebases to AI, it always forgets some stuff about the codebase halfway through. I realized that most codebases are too big for AI, and it's out of it's context window. Codeslimmer minimizes the codebase and converts it into clean, polished XML with a file tree. This has been proven to increase AI efficiency up to 30%. Codeslimmer is also very easy to install. You can use pip install if you have python. To install, first make sure you have Python, and then run pip install codeslimmer. Codeslimmer is completely free, and open source. You can propose edits to Codeslimmer in the official Codeslimmer github repository.
