Developers spend hours writing code, but the reasoning behind it quickly disappears into pull requests, issues, chats, and documents. CodeContext+ keeps relevant context visible exactly where development happens, so architectural decisions, investigations, debugging history, and implementation rationale are available while you're reading and editing code instead of somewhere else.

Top comment

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Manuel, the creator of CodeContext+. This project started from a frustration I kept running into while maintaining software. The code was still there, but the reasoning behind it wasn't. Important investigations, architectural decisions, migration notes, debugging sessions, and implementation trade-offs were scattered across pull requests, issues, chats, and documentation. I didn't want another documentation platform or another knowledge base. I wanted the relevant context to appear while reading the code that needed it. CodeContext+ is built around that single idea: relevant context should stay visible while you develop. I'd love to hear your thoughts: - Does your team struggle with losing development context? - What kinds of context would you want to see directly in your editor? - What would make a tool like this genuinely useful in your daily workflow? Thanks for taking a look, and I'm happy to answer any questions!

Comment highlights

Keeping the 'why' behind code visible right where you're editing solves a real pain — that context always evaporates into PRs and chats. Really useful for teams. Congrats on shipping! 🛠️
