I got tired of spam and junk mail. And worse, Gmail unsubscribe feature does not work at all, I keep getting spam and newsletters long after the unsubscribe. Clova does the opposite: the inbox ceases to exist when I delete it (or it expires if you set an expiration date) with a hard-bounce. Also, if companies sell your address, it's of no use: Your addresses are locked to one-sender -- the first one to write to you under that address are the only ones to reach you.
We offer 4 types of addresses:
1) Permanent. Just like a regular inbox),
2) Temporary. Have a time-limit, then hard-bounce. Useful for one-time receipts.
3) One-sender. Locks to just the first sender and everyone else gets a hard-bounce.
4) Prefix. Create a prefix, then any suffix after that becomes a new inbox locked to the first sender. Very helpful when you don't have time to set up a new inbox. Just have a prefix ready and add something to the prefix that identifies the reason, person or company you're handing it out to and it just works.
You can bring your own domain too or choose from a list of a few ones we provide.
