I'm the founder behind CloudInvoice. This one started from a pretty simple, annoying moment — I had to send a client a proper GST invoice and get paid for it, and I couldn't find a free tool that actually did both parts well. Free templates couldn't handle GST correctly, and the "proper" invoicing platforms wanted me to pay for accounting features I didn't need just to send one clean invoice.
So I built CloudInvoice to fix exactly that: create a GST-ready invoice in a couple of minutes, and give your client a private payment page where they can pay you instantly via UPI QR or Stripe checkout — no login required on their end, no separate "please transfer to this account" message.
A few things I care about that you'll notice using it:
The free Starter tier is real — GST invoices, client directory, no credit card, no expiry.
Payments only get marked as paid after a verified Stripe webhook, never just because someone hits a "success" page.
No fake customer wall — every testimonial you'll eventually see here will be from someone who actually said yes to being featured.
I'm a solo founder, self-funded so far, so this launch genuinely matters — it's the first real distribution CloudInvoice has had. If you're a freelancer, consultant, or run a small studio and this invoice-to-payment friction sounds familiar, I'd love for you to try it and tell me what's missing.
