ClipLocal is a browser-first AI writing layer for people who spend their day in emails, docs, support threads, proposals, CRM notes, and internal tools.
Instead of copying text into a blank chat box, you select the sentence where it already lives. ClipLocal opens a focused side rail, shows the original text, the rewrite, the reason for the change, and the word-count delta, then lets you replace the sentence in place.
The model endpoint is yours: use local Ollama or configure your own provider endpoint. This MVP has no hosted ClipLocal AI account or telemetry layer.

Hey Product Hunt, Mehmet here.
I built ClipLocal because the smallest writing fixes are often the most annoying ones: a client sentence sounds weak, a support reply is too long, or a proposal paragraph needs a cleaner tone.
The idea is simple: select text where you already work, review the rewrite in a side rail, and replace the original sentence in place. No copy/paste loop, no tab hopping, no blank chat box.
