Hey everyone, I'm Cory, the founder of ClipItCoach.
The idea came from tournament trips. After a game the whole team would cram into one hotel room, someone would set up a projector, and our coach would flick through his notebook finding timestamps and reading notes while we watched the footage. It worked, but once we left the room we had the film and none of his notes. The most important parts of the game were lost.
There are already good tools out there, but they're mostly expensive web platforms or professional desktop telestration software built for clubs with full-time analysts. ClipItCoach lets the coach clip the moments that matter, draw on the play and add notes, and the whole team keeps all of it. Players can go back to their own clips whenever they want, comment, and ask questions, so the review doesn't end when you leave the room.
We're aiming for the middle: solid quality, much more affordable, and built around the whole team collaborating rather than one analyst at a desk.
It's on the web and Android now, and already have ten sport types actively using the platform so far: football (soccer), American football, flag football, basketball, field hockey, ice hockey, water polo, rugby union, rugby league and lacrosse.
