Hey Product Hunt — I'm Alex, maker of Cliper.
**The problem:** You just recorded a 1-hour podcast. You still need 8–10
shorts with hooks, vertical crop, and captions. That's an afternoon per
episode. Most people just… don't post.
**What Cliper does:**
Paste a YouTube link → we transcribe, score the viral moments, and generate
9:16 clips with animated captions. Then you edit like a doc: delete a
sentence and the video cuts.
**What Cliper does:**
Clipping tools stop at "here are 10 clips." The painful part is the last
mile — cutting filler, fixing captions, reframing. We put a text-based
editor (and reframe / remove-subs / speech cleanup) on top of the pipeline.
